Benjamin Gerzik makes music in a dark room hoping it can see the light of day. Inspired by the intersection of controlled weirdness and raw passion of artists like Radiohead, Frank Ocean, Fleet Foxes, and The Tallest Man on Earth, Ben writes music that's ambitious yet intimate. His Texas upbringing influenced his sweaty, self prescribed genre of "Brood Music", fueled by long days indoors with broken AC units. Coming projects feature diverse instrumentation and sounds from art rock to RnB with constant folk undertones. His debut EP Sanguine embodies this ethos, tying together disparate sounds and moods with strings of memory and forgetting you're not supposed to. It will release in early June on all major platforms.
